Leeds six-piece alt-rockers BEAUTY SCHOOL have this week revealed their brand new single ‘Cowboy Milk‘.
Following on from their previous releases ‘Gloom‘ and ‘Reaper‘, the bands third single of 2024 reflects on the highs and lows of touring.
Vocalist Joe Cabrera goes into detail on the new track. “I wrote this song the night we got back from our European shows last summer. The reality of being in a band these days is pretty much that it’s a labour of love. It will give you the best times you could ever imagine but it won’t keep the lights on. We arrived home after a 38 hour drive from Italy and I had exactly 10 hours until I had to be back in a classroom teaching a music industry module to college kids. That would be the next few days before we got back in the van to play Islington with State Champs then Download festival at the weekend. My back was in bits, and my brain was shutting down. Part of it was screaming for me to throw the brakes on everything and the other part was filled with pure euphoria that I was getting to go out and do all this amazing stuff with my best mates. It was a pretty powerful and weird place to be in mentally.”
‘Cowboy Milk‘ is available across digital streaming platforms HERE. The official music video can be found below.
BEAUTY SCHOOL have also announced they will be heading out on a UK tour alongside Sheffield quartet JETSKI in the autumn. The bands shared the stage previously during the steel city band’s biggest hometown show at the iconic Sheffield venue, The Leadmill, which saw them both perform in front of a sell out crowd earlier this year.
