Fresh off the back of their ‘Out of Nothing‘ 20th anniversary performance in Leeds, West Yorkshire pioneers EMBRACE have announced additional dates for their upcoming UK tour this November.
In a press release, frontman Danny McNamara said “I really can’t believe it’s been 20 years since we released the album. It was such a key moment in the life of the band, and the lives of us as individuals. The band took day jobs to keep going, we had no choice, but we believed in ourselves, and we believed in the songs we were writing. That’s where the album title comes from, we had nothing, but out of that we were determined to build something great.”
Danny continues by saying “The fact that we managed to do that, and the fact that the fans were still there for us when we came back after being dropped by Hut is what makes this album so special to us. We’ve waited 20 years to celebrate the record, now’s the time!”
The band are set to continue the celebrations of their chart topping record with a huge UK tour, which will see them perform in huge venues such as Nottingham Rock City and Manchester Academy.
To add to the tour, EMBRACE will be returning to Halifax, this time at the Victoria Theatre. The band have performed at the iconic Piece Hall venue twice, celebrating their debut release ‘The Good Will Out‘ which saw both shows sell out.
The band will also be back at Glasgow Barrowlands as part of the anniversary tour, a venue that is a favourite of theirs and is fitting to celebrate their much loved album.
Tickets go on sale for the new shows Friday 2nd August at 9am. All remaining dates are on sale now.
