Sacramento GRAMMY award winning icons DEFTONES have announced a special UK returning performance, scheduled for next summer

The band’s headline show will take place at London’s Crystal Palace Park, making this their first show across the pond since 2022. Over the years, DEFTONES have become a staple at the likes of Download Festival and Reading + Leeds Festivals, but now they will be putting on a huge show in an outdoor setting of there own. Despite releasing their debut album only two years prior, it was 1997’s ‘Around the Fur’ that shot the California band into the limelight, showcasing powerful break downs, ear piercing screams and wholesome vocals from frontman Chino Moreno. They have secured x3 UK top 10 albums, with their most recent coming from ‘Ohms‘ back in 2020.

Joining the line-up will be WEEZER, who on their own have become a huge influence to many of the new breed coming out today. The fellow Californians hold 15-studio albums to their name, with nine of those reaching the top 10 on the Billboard 200. The quartet recently visited the UK earlier this year as they supported The Smashing Pumpkins on their return, plus back in 2022 as part of the ‘Hella Mega Tour‘ alongside Green Day and Fall Out Boy.

UK hardcore outfit HIGH VIS will also be making an appearance on the day, who are like no other bands within that genre. Mixing a blend of psychedelic with Britpop melodies and street punk to form a unique sound. More acts set to be announced soon.
