John Lydon’s PUBLIC IMAGE LTD has announced a huge UK and Ireland tour for 2025, including a range of festival headline slots for the summer.
Labelled as the ‘This Is Not The Last Tour‘ will stop in major cities such as Bristol, Newcastle, Cardiff and Sheffield, whilst hitting locations outside of the usual touring circuit to cover all corners of the nation.
PiL will headline all three Stone Valley festivals and Blackpool Rebellion Festival across the summer, with the all 23 dates spanning from May to August 2025.
In a press release, Lydon said “I thought that might be it. After losing Nora, and Rambo, I couldn’t see a way through. I’d already committed to the spoken word tour, this spring, and I never let anyone down – I always stick to my word – so I had to do those dates. The thing is, people were so overwhelmingly positive, and they asked me to tour PiL again. With so many people asking and with the band meaning so much to them, I couldn’t just stay on my sofa and not tour – tempting though that obviously is.”
