As the colder months begin to come through, live music fans are already looking forward to the summer now that festival organisers have began revealing and teasing the line-ups for a yet another busy festival season.
Next July, Sheffield’s premier festival TRAMLINES will return to Hillsborough Park for another year, guaranteed to bring in huge headliners, adored acts and some special guests across three days in the steel city.
Iconic Sheffield band PULP have been announced as Friday’s main stage headliners, with a set guaranteed to include a range of fan favourites including ‘Common People‘ and ‘Disco 2000‘. Despite forming back in 1978, it wasn’t until their fourth album ‘His ‘n’ Hers‘ was released in 1994 that saw the band burst on to the Britpop scene. They went on to secure the top spot in the UK Album Charts the following year with ‘Different Class‘ and ‘This Is Hardcore‘ three years later. The band are set to curate their own line-up for Tramlines, hand picking a range of acts to share the stage with them throughout the day before their huge homecoming performance to close out the first day of the festival.
Rotherham indie rockers THE REYTONS will top the line-up for their biggest South Yorkshire performance yet. The quartet brought 20,000 fans together for a huge homecoming show, which has now skyrocketed them into a headline set at TRAMLINES for 2025. The band have worked their way through the venues over the years, from the iconic Leadmill, to the O2 Academy, and also Sheffield Arena before returning to the neighbouring Rotherham in the summer for their own action packed day at Clifton Park. This is set to be yet another milestone in the bands journey.
Finally, returning from their appearance in 2022, Leicester heavyweights KASABIAN will close out the festival in style with their arena anthems like ‘Club Foot‘ and ‘Fire‘. The band are no strangers to the outdoor stages, from their hometown show at Victoria Park, to supporting Liam Gallagher at Knebworth in 2022, it is set to be one of the most action packed performances from a TRAMLINES headliner yet.
The names don’t stop there though, with FRANZ FERDINAND set to bring their dancefloor indie anthems to Hillsborough Park, having not played in the city since 2009. Nottingham born JAKE BUGG looks to continue his run of festival appearances from this year into 2025, whilst Wigan indie quartet THE LATHUMS continue to add more dates to their busy schedule next year.
THE K’S will return to the festival once again after packing out The Leadmill tent back in 2023, and local names THE SHERLOCKS and THE ROSADOCS will both make the short trip across the city to bring a range of crowd pleasing indie anthems throughout the weekend.
Hip-hop duo RIZZLE KICKS will return to the live circuit next year, adding a set at TRAMLINES to their schedule, NATASHA BEDINGFIELD, THE LAST DINNER PARTY and SCOUTING FOR GIRLS are all set to bring in packed crowds for their performances too. Newcomers DAYDREAMERS and rising stars THE ROYSTON CLUB will also be appearing across the site, with stage splits to be revealed next year.
SPRITIUALIZED, HOT CHIP (DJ SET), I MONSTER, ORACLE SISTERS, HEATHER SMALL, THE FUTUREHEADS, FREDDIE HALKON, CHLOE SLATER, K DOT, SHE’S IN THE PARTIES, EVERLY PREGNANT BROTHERS, THE LEADMIL STUDIO ORCHESTRA, SIGRID, CMAT, CLIFFORDS and LUVCAT conclude the first names revealed for TRAMLINES 2025.
