The annual August bank holiday event returns for 2025, and with a new year comes a new line-up, with the first wave of acts now revealed.
Sheffield metal giants BRING ME THE HORIZON will headline the festival for the second time, having worked their way up the stages over the years. Back in May, the Yorkshire band released their seventh studio album ‘Post Human: Nex Gen‘, reaching #2 in the Official UK Album Charts, five years after their chart topping effort ‘Amo‘. BMTH served as co-headliners alongside fellow Sheffield band Arctic Monkeys back in 2022, almost 10 years on from their first ever main stage performance.
Irish musician HOZIER has also been announced as one of 2025’s headliners. Back in the summer of 2023, he secured a third straight successive chart topping record with ‘Unreal Earth‘ whilst he hit single ‘Too Sweet‘, which reached #1 in the UK Singles Chart was released just seven months after the record. HOZIER sold out a huge headline performance at London’s Finsbury Park last year, and serves as the perfect warm-up ahead of his biggest headline show to date.
Texas rapper TRAVIS SCOTT and American popstar CHAPPEL ROAN will also feature as headline acts for 2025, with the latter serving as a co-headliner alongside Hozier. ROAN‘s debut album ‘The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess‘ peaked at #1 in the UK Album Charts back in 2023, with the record featuring the famous single ‘Hot to Go!‘. TRAVIS SCOTT returns to the festival for the first time since his debut in 2018. Scott has released one album since then, with 2023’s ‘Utopia’ go straight to the top here in the UK charts.
Alongside the headliners, further names have been revealed for 2025.
Brighton indie rock band THE KOOKS continue their run of festival appearances around the UK, with fans to expect hits of theirs including ‘Naïve‘, ‘Shine On‘ and many more.
London quartet BLOC PARTY will perform a special set to celebrate 20 years as a band, with songs from their iconic debut album ‘Silent Alarm‘ heavily featuring.
Reading + Leeds regulars ENTER SHIKARI are guaranteed to bring their electric performance to the stage once again, and one of the UK’s most exciting bands right now, WUNDERHORSE, also set to appear across the weekend.
SOFT PLAY will return to the festival once again alongside Manchester indie-pop band PALE WAVES.
