California alt-metal band NEW YEAR’S DAY crossed the band to start their year with a bang. Starting 2025 with a UK tour, Southampton served as the opening night.
Beccles’ FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS opened the show with theatrical performance and dark themed catalogue. Having disbanded back in 2016, the return of the band came six years later, making this their first official tour since reforming.
Formed in Michigan, CONQUER DIVIDE were billed as the main support on the evening, completing the original line-up that was set to complete the tour back in September 2024.
NYD released their fifth studio album ‘Half Black Heart‘ in 2024, with the UK tour setlist consisting of five tracks from the record, including singles ‘Vampyre‘ and the title track.
The band also included covers of ‘Gangsta‘ (Kehlani) and ‘Fucking Hostile‘ (Pantera) to their setlist, with ‘Kill or Be Killed‘ the single track for the encore.
