Returning to the UK for only a handful of dates, Josh Homme and co. will be making their long-awaited return to Sheffield, 25 years later.
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE have been announced as one of the headliners of this years ROCK N ROLL CIRCUS, taking place in the steel city this summer.
The bands latest album ‘In Times New Roman…‘ reached #9 in the UK Album Charts back in 2023, with tracks receiving regular air time on the likes of BBC Radio 1 and Radio X.
In a press release, festival organiser Ali O’Reilly said: “We’re taking Rock N Roll Circus to the next level in 2025. Bringing a band such as Queens of the Stone Age to Sheffield is a huge moment for us and we can’t wait to welcome them to the Big Top in August. They are the perfect act to open our celebrations and fit everything that our brand is trying to achieve. It’s been a long time since they’ve performed in this part of the world, and we’re honoured and excited to have them.”
VIAGRA BOYS, THE BUG CLUB, FAT DOG and SO GOOD have been announced to feature on the day, with more names yet to be announced.
As part of ROCK N ROLL CIRCUS, attendees can expect a range of acts that are set to entertain everyone across all dates, with a full-throttle sensory experience that merges world-class live music with the magic and spectacle of a travelling circus.
