It has been 10 years since GHOSTFEST last graced the city of Leeds, which saw a stacked line-up for their decade celebration before revealing it would be their final event.
The festival debuted in the Yorkshire city back in 2007, before concluding in 2015. During that time, major names such as Architects, The Devil Wears Prada, Bring Me The Horizon, Hatebreed and Despised Icon have all performed over the years, becoming a staple in the festival circuit for heavy bands across the globe.
Fast forward to 2025, the festival returns for a special 20th anniversary edition with a bunch of exclusive performances, reunion’s and surprises.
HUMANITY’S LAST BREATH are set to perform a UK exclusive show at Ghostfest this year. The Swedish deathcore act hold five studio albums to their name, with 2023’s ‘Ashen’ serving as their latest material.
Pittsburgh heavyweights SIGNS OF THE SWARM will also join the line-up for 2025 for a UK exclusive performance. The bands last visit to the UK was during the ‘Faces of Death’ tour alongside Veil of Maya who performed on the 2013 edition.
INGESTED debuted at the festival back in 2008, before returning for further appearances in 2010, 2011 and 2014. This year see’s them back as one of the headline acts for 2025.
GHOSTFEST regulars DESOLATED and TRC will also be back in Leeds to add to the already stacked line-up.
HEART OF A COWARD will return to the festival after previously performing on the main stage from 2012 – 2015.
LANDSCAPES are set to perform a special reunion show after disbanding back in 2018. The melodic hardcore outfit did reunite for a one-off special show back in 2021 for former Dead Harts drummer Ant Allen’s memorial show in Sheffield.
GHOSTFEST favourites DEMORALISER will also reunite, this time to perform their EP ‘Reform. Repent. Revenge.’ in full.
Deathcore newcomers, VEILED, beatdown outfit PINTGLASS and a ‘Partied In Half‘ set from PARTY CANNON complete the first wave of acts announced for 2025.
