THE DARKNESS are back, delivering another electrifying album with their eighth studio release, ‘Dreams On Toast‘.

After the success of their debut album, ‘Permission to Land‘, in 2003, the British rock band cemented themselves as household names in the rock community. Known for their high-energy performances, flamboyant style, and glam-rock anthems, they have gifted us classics like ‘I Believe in a Thing Called Love‘, ‘Love Is Only a Feeling‘, and the festive favourite ‘Christmas Time (Don’t Let the Bells End)‘.

With their new album, ‘Dreams On Toast‘, fans can expect more of the band’s iconic piercing vocals, epic guitar solos, and signature playful and humorous lyrics. The album kicks off with ‘Rock & Roll Party Cowboy‘, an energetic start packed with a hard-rock flair, reminiscent of their earlier work.

Other newly released singles – ‘I Hate Myself‘, ‘Hot on My Tail‘, ‘The Longest Kiss‘, and ‘Walking Through Fire‘ – further prove that THE DARKNESS have lost none of their charm and have stayed true to the powerful riffs and witty song writing that made them a standout act over two decades ago. A personal favourite is ‘Cold Hearted Woman‘, a track with an irresistibly catchy hook.

Blending hard rock, glam rock, and classic heavy metal with theatrical vocals, ‘Dreams On Toast‘ feels like a natural addition to the band’s legendary catalogue. Inspired by some of the greats, such as Queen, AC/DC, and Van Halen, this album reassures fans that THE DARKNESS are far from fading into obscurity. A must-listen for both long time devotees and newcomers alike.
