BROOKE COMBE continued her ‘Dancing At The Edge Of The World‘, lighting up Manchester’s O2 Ritz on Saturday night with a performance that was equal parts soul, energy, and heartfelt storytelling. The Scottish singer-songwriter has been touring across the UK in support of her latest album — Dancing At The Edge Of The World — her second release following 2023’s ‘Black Is The New Gold‘.

The atmosphere in the Ritz was electric even before COMBE hit the stage, thanks to stellar warm-up performances from RUBY J and Liverpool’s CASINO. RUBY J opened the night with a set of acoustic soul and expressive vocals, followed by CASINO – who turned up the tempo with a set full of indie grooves and infectious energy that had the crowd moving.

Loved for her blend of vintage soul with modern pop sensibilities, COMBE brought her signature sound to life with a dynamic set that had the entire venue on its feet. Fans were treated to live renditions of standout tracks like ‘This Town‘, followed by ‘A-Game‘, and the breakout single ‘Are You With Me‘, along with a special cover of Seals & Crofts’ mellow classic ‘Summer Breeze‘.

When BROOKE took to the stage, the energy in the room hit a new level. Dressed in her effortlessly cool style, she commanded The Ritz from the first note – all confidence, charm, and powerhouse vocals. Between songs, COMBE took time to connect with the crowd – cracking jokes, shouting out fans, and sharing glimpses into the process of creating the new record. She spoke candidly about the themes that shaped it –  love, vulnerability, growth – and the freedom she felt making music on her own terms.

Named one of Scotland’s most exciting artists, and labelled by Rolling Stone UK as ‘One To Watch’ – BROOKE has already proved herself a formidable talent, but on stage, she’s something even more special  – a soul revivalist with a modern edge, and a performer who knows how to light up a room.

Tickets are still available for BROOKE‘s remaining shows in Sheffield, Leeds and Glasgow are still available – and she’s definitely one to keep an eye and ear out for this summer.
