Back in February 2024, London based quartet WOLF ALICE announced they had split from their label Dirty Hit, which sparked speculation that there would be new music on the horizon soon. Now over a year later, the band return with a brand new single and news of their upcoming fourth album ‘The Clearing‘.

Since bursting on to the scene back in 2013, the band’s debut ‘My Love Is Cool‘ peaked at #2 in the UK Album Charts, with their second record ‘Visions of a Life‘ achieving the same position before finally reaching the top spot with their 2021 release ‘Blue Weekend‘. Now beginning a new era in the band, WOLF ALICE recorded their forthcoming record with Grammy winning producer Greg Kurstin.

The Clearing‘ is scheduled for release 29th August 2025 via Sony Music. Pre-order HERE.

The first single ‘Bloom Baby Bloom‘ has also been released to give fans their first taste of what is to come from ‘The Clearing‘.

In a press release, Ellie Rowsell said “I wanted a rock song; to focus on the performance element of a rock song, and sing like Axl Rose, but to be singing a song about being a woman I’ve used the guitar as a shield in the past and playing it has perhaps been some way to reject the ‘girl singer in band’ trope. But I wanted to focus on my voice as a rock instrument, so it’s been freeing to put the guitar down and reach a point where I don’t feel like I need to prove that I’m a musician.”

Bloom Baby Bloom‘ is available across digital streaming platforms HERE. The official music video can be found below.

WOLF ALICE have also revealed dates for their upcoming UK tour this November and December, which see’s the band taken on arenas across the country.
