Following an incredible series of performances as part of ‘Live At The Piece Hall’ 2025, DEAN LEWIS brought all the emotions to the scenic Halifax venue for the closing night of his UK leg of ‘The Epilogue World Tour’.

Opening the show were the incredibly talented HENRY MOODIE and BEN ELLIS and these supports were certainly not to be missed! With HENRY MOODIE having supported DEAN LEWIS throughout the Canadian and US legs of his “The Epilogue World Tour’ and BEN ELLIS joining the duo to create the ultimate lineup that went down a treat with the fans.

Kicking off the night, BEN ELLIS took to the stage with his guitar to perform ‘Burner Phone’ from his latest EP ‘The Hollywood EP’. This upbeat track really got the fans going, with many spotted dancing along and sporting his merch from tour earlier this year. BEN continued to hype up the crowd playing a variety of songs from his 2 EP’s in addition to an unreleased song, ‘Where She Goes’, which fans can expect to hear more of later this year. Wrapping up his set, BEN brought fans, old and new, together with his cover of ‘Dancing Queen’ – an incredible moment for the Welsh artist with the entire crowd joining in and singing back to him.

Shortly after Ben’s set, HENRY MOODIE took the stage, performing his hit song ‘You Were There For Me’. HENRY’S set also featured an extended version of fan favourite ‘Closure’ with an added bridge not in the official release. HENRY also performed his new hit single ‘Comedown’, an upbeat indie pop tune, marking a new era for the singer. HENRY also knew how to get the crowd going, using an inflatable dice to determine his cover for the night MOODIE threw the dice into the front rows of the crowd before it landed back, determining the nights cover – ‘Traitor’ by Olivia Rodrigo, a welcome surprise for fans.

Then came DEAN LEWIS’ entrance to a near sold out venue, immediately entering with his Aussie charm, waving and interacting with fans before performing ‘Empire’ which got everyone clapping along. Only 3 songs in, DEAN commented on the crowd’s energy, claiming they’re the ‘best crowd [he’s] had’ after their singing and dancing truly lit up the entire venue. One key takeaway from DEAN’S entrance was his incredible acknowledgment of and interaction with his fans. From the moment he stepped on stage, the Australian singer read signs and waved to fans; as well as throwing guitar picks into the crowd after each and every song. Whilst performing ‘Stay Awake’ DEAN sat on the edge of the stage in order to create an intimate atmosphere, even despite the venue’s huge crowd.

The entire show made the crowd dance, cry and sing along (sometimes all at once!) making the concert an emotional rollercoaster to say the least. The carefully curated setlist guided us on this journey with a combination of meaningful and emotive ballads and more upbeat, nostalgic tracks. ‘I Hate That It’s True’ went down a treat with the crowd, bringing all the emotions at once. Transitioning from the heart wrenching ballad ‘Truth’ to the upbeat indie pop anthem ‘That’s So True’ by Gracie Abrams, DEAN LEWIS maintained the emotional journey of his show.

Following his cover, DEAN and his crew were seen sprinting across the venue to the Accessibility platform on the other side of the Piece Hall to perform ‘Half A Man’ and ‘The Last Bit Of Us’, another incredible, intimate moment to his set allowing him to engage with even more of his adoring fans. Returning to the main stage, performed the hit track ‘Waves’ from his 2019 album ‘A Place We Knew’ before covering ‘Iris’ by The Goo Goo Dolls (a cover which fans can expect to be released as part of ‘The Epilogue (Deluxe)’ releasing on the 11th of July). During the cover, DEAN also reinvited support act, HENRY MOODIE, to the stage to perform alongside him.

As the show was now being brought to a close, for only the second time ever, fans got to hear the new track ‘Hurt So Bad’, ahead of its official release in ‘The Epilogue (Deluxe)’. Finally, fans were thrilled with the encore of the show performing his most streamed song, ‘Be Alright’, with a British flag wrapped around his shoulders. Whilst many would think the show ended there, DEAN continued to surprise fans with an acoustic performance outside the venue after the main show had ended, leaving many fans on the biggest high after the end of the show. For the final night of his UK tour, it is safe to say DEAN LEWIS exceeded all expectations, putting on an unforgettable show at the Piece Hall.
