South Yorkshire five-piece THE ROSADOCS announced a special EP launch event at their favourite venue, The Garrison in Barnsley, just a matter of days prior to the release of their debut EP, ‘The City’s No Good for Reflection‘. On a hot Sunday afternoon, the band held a signing session ahead of the show before performing the entire EP along with all of their fans’ favourite songs.

Everyone in the room was waiting for the band to arrive, with bucket hats and t-shirts on, and physical copies of the EP in hand. The audience cheers once the band made their way on to the stage and they wasted no time in getting the ball rolling. Opening with an already fan favourite ‘Bittersweet‘ to ease into the show, ‘Hopeless Optimist‘ continued the energy flowing until ‘Cross to Bear‘ came around. Joe, Adam and Callum stepped aside for this one, with Keelan and Myles delivering the emotional track that was met with a loud joint effort from the capacity crowd. Graney held the mic out towards the last chorus to allow the audience to have their moment and let their voices be heard.

The crowds participation continued as they clapped along to ‘The Ladder‘ and the final track from the EP, ‘Into the Storm‘, got its live debut performance, so a real treat for those in attendance. Now the EP was complete, it was time for a bunch of crowd pleasers to be unleashed. Before the rest of the set could commence, Keelan invited devoted fan Fiona on stage to present her with flowers and a signed drum skin for her 50th show. A brilliant achievement for any music fan and a touching moment for the band to recognise her dedication.

Normal service now resumed, THE ROSADOCS kicked things back off with ‘No.54‘, with the energy in the room picking back up immediately. The excitement throughout the venue was captured perfectly during ‘Towards the Sun‘, with fans raised in the air and their voices persisted throughout the song. Rounding out the show with ‘Settle Down‘ and ‘Concrete‘ to set up the grand finale of ‘Run Away Instead‘. In typical fashion, Keelan made his way into the crowd, singing in everyone’s faces before urging the Barnsley crowd to leap into the air for the final chorus. His wishes were granted (as they always are) and perfectly concluded the bands return to The Garrison in style.

The Rosadocs then returned to the merchandise table to spend time speaking with their fans, signing EP’s and just having a good old chat with everyone who came to the show.

The City’s No Good for Reflection‘ is available on digital streaming platforms now. Physical copies can be purchased HERE.
