While Sleep Theory were over in the UK for their headline tour, we pitched some questions to frontman Cullen Moore.
—
This is your biggest UK headline tour to date, how have the shows gone down?
Cullen: Every show that we’ve played has been pretty great. Everyone’s been super receiving and fun to play for. The UK especially has been overwhelmingly loud when singing each song so it’s been really fun.
—
What makes touring the UK so special for the band?
Cullen: Truthfully, it’s the fan interaction, seeing how excited they are having us over here playing for them.
—
What is the difference between UK crowds compared to the US?
Cullen: Again, it’s just how loud everyone is when singing. They aren’t afraid to get involved in and sing the songs that they connect with the most as loudly as possible.
—
‘Afterglow’ is coming up to one year in May, what has the overall reception been like now you’ve had time to sit on it.
Cullen: I think the reception that we’ve been receiving is exactly what I thought it would be from the listener being that it’s a no scope album and it caters to everybody in a different way and I think that’s what people love about it.
—
What can fans expect from Sleep Theory for the remainder of 2026 that you can tease us with?
Cullen: I always tell people not to expect anything because when you expect something when you get it and it’s not what you thought it would be, then you’re left with disappointment. So truthfully don’t expect anything at all. Just wait and see what happens.
—
What message do you have for your fans in the UK now that the leg has concluded?
Cullen: Next time we come, we’ll be in bigger rooms and we’ll have bigger production and even more fun.
