As the summer edges closer, Rock n Roll Circus returns to Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield for a fourth year. The 2026 line-up has been teased for weeks with huge headliners The Streets, Wunderhorse and Richard Ashcroft topping the bill. A fourth headliner, plus many more names have been added for what is set to be one of the biggest events of the summer.
Brighton indie legends The Kooks will kick off this years event as they headline the Thursday line-up. Performing their iconic debut album ‘Inside In/Inside Out‘ in full, they will also be joined by 2024’s headliners and Sheffield royalty Milburn, who will be celebrating 20 years of their album ‘Well Well Well‘. Another name with close ties to the Steel City is Miles Kane, who sold out two nights at Crookes Social Club earlier this year.
Cruz Beckham and the Breakers, Day We Ran, Birmingham rising stars The Clause, Liverpool quartet The Kairos and Spanish Horses have all been named for the Thursday line-up too.
Joining The Streets on the Friday will be the returning Babyshambles, making this Peter Doherty’s third appearance at the event in three years in different formats. Casisdead, West Yorkshire’s Ellur, plus Hak Baker and Khakikid complete the Friday bill. In a press release, Peter Doherty said “There’s something about Rock N Roll Circus that sticks with you. It’s not just the music, it’s the whole world they build around it. We’ve had some brilliant moments there before, so bringing Babyshambles into that tent feels like coming back to something special.”
Saturday will be closed out by Wunderhorse, with previously announced names Baxter Dury, English Teacher and Fat Dog joining them under the Big Top. New additions include Basht., Bleech 9:3, Gurriers, Heidi Curtis, The North, Theatre and The Molotovs to make up a stacked day of some of the UK and Ireland’s finest upcoming acts.
Finally, Sunday will be rounded off with a set from Richard Ashcroft. With Cast, Embrace and The Fratellis previous revealed as Sunday’s major names, new additions for the final day include M60, Tidetied, Villanelle, Sonni Mills, Sofy, Ist Ist, Sundress and Sheffield royalty Everly Pregnant Brothers to conclude the 2026 edition in style.
Festival Director Ali O’Reilly said: “This is exactly what Rock N Roll Circus is about – bringing together iconic artists, celebrating huge records, and giving a platform to the next generation coming through.
“To have artists like Babyshambles, The Molotovs, Heid Curtis, Gurriers joining a line-up that already includes The Kooks, Milburn, Miles Kane, The Streets, Wunderhorse and Richard Ashcroft is incredibly exciting.
“Sheffield has always backed us, and this year’s line-up feels like a real moment for the city.”
