To celebrate two decades since the release of their debut album ‘Count Your Blessings’, Sheffield metal band Bring Me the Horizon have revealed details of a re-release as well as a special anniversary show, set to take place in Manchester this summer.
Released back in October 2026, the album reached #93 in the UK Official Album Charts, two years on from their EP ‘This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For‘. Still hailed as an important record within the UK deathcore scene for that time, the band have gone on to release multiple albums, with five Top 10 albums, two of those reaching the top spot.
To celebrate the twenty year mark, the Sheffield band have announced they will be re-releasing the album on vinyl, CD, cassette and digitally, with a complete re-recording. Outbreak Fest organisers will be teaming up with the band to put on a special one-off intimate performance which will see BMTH perform the album in full alongside a stacked heavy line-up that will grace Manchester’s BEC Arena.
Static Dress, a band who have toured with BMTH before, will be returning to the site, having performed at Outbreak Fest back in 2022. Fellow Sheffield band Rolo Tomassi will make a rare appearance up north for the event, with Portland metal band Dying Wish crossing the pond having recently supported Malevolence in the UK.
British metalcore quartet Heriot will come armed with material from 2024’s acclaimed debut ‘Devoured By The Mouth Of Hell‘ and beyond, with LA based emo crew Car Underwater performing as part of their first UK trip. The line up is completed by UK hardcore supergroup Still In Love opening the show, consisting of original BMTH member Curtis Ward who previously joined the Sheffield band for ‘Pray for Plagues‘ performances at London Underworld and Wembley Arena back in 2014.
