Watford quartet THE SPITFIRES‘ have revealed their first single since reforming at the start of 2025.
The single is available across digital streaming platforms HERE, but also on super-limited 7” vinyl, with only 300 copies available. The first 150 copies will by fully signed by the band, featuring B-side ‘A Man Out of Time (Le SuperHomard Remix)‘ which is only available only the physical format.
In a press release, frontman Billy Sullivan said “The song is about the current situation in the Middle East, but it really relates to all forms of war. Who can believe that, in 2025, we’re still seeing countries torn apart and thousands of people killed, whether due to religion or pure greed? The honest amongst us will recognise who is turning a blind eye to it all, making the choice to put profit before peace. Arms deals and relationships with power takes precedence over human life.”
THE SPITFIRES split back in 2022, but just over two years later, they are back with a new line-up featuring Liam Taylor (guitar), Sam Dimond (bass) and Euan Crawford-McKee (drums) to Sullivan’s showmanship on lead vocals and guitar.
