The annual August bank holiday event returns for 2026, and with a new year comes a new line-up, with the first wave of acts now revealed.

This year see’s six UK festival exclusives announced, with Charli XCX being the first name revealed. Her sixth album ‘Brat‘ soared to the top spot in the UK Album Charts back in June 2024, with the “Brat Summer” vibes continuing into 2025 and now looks to be a great time to conclude that era at Reading + Leeds Festival.

Chase & Status return to the festival, with their last appearance back in 2013 as direct support ahead of headliner Eminem. Rap artist Dave tops the bill once again after his previous headline slot in 2022. His third studio album ‘The Boy Who Played the Harp‘ peaked at #1 in the UK Album Charts, making it his third straight number one record.

Florence + the Machine returns to the festival, with their last appearance back in 2012. Also achieving a #1 album with ‘Everybody Scream‘, this slot is set to feature songs from the band’s extensive catalogue. Irish punks Fontaines D.C. went global after the success of their album ‘Romance’, which sets their festival headline slot to be the band’s biggest performance to date.

Multi BRIT Award winner Raye makes up the final headline slot for Reading + Leeds Festival, while for the first time ever, Leeds Festival will get an exclusive set from Leicester indie rock legends Kasabian to warm-up those heading to Bramham Park.

The announcement’s continue with former Little Mix member JADE, grime legend Skepta, Irish trio Kneecap, London grunge youngsters Keo, plus Skye Newman, Role Model, Josh Baker, Kettama, Chris Stussy, Adela and Geese complete the first wave of acts.
