DIY hardcore festival Outbreak will return to Manchester for their 2026 edition, which also marks their 15th anniversary. The growth of the festival in the last decade has reached heights that both the organisers and fans could only imagine, but thanks to a strong and dedicated community, it has become one of Europe’s must attend events.

This year will see headliners The Front Bottoms, Alexisonfire and Basement take on the main stage, with a stacked line-up spanning across three stages gracing the rainy city once again. The Front Bottoms are set to perform their record ‘Talon of the Hawk’ in full, plus a range of other material on the Friday. Balance & Composure will return to the city having recently supported Superheaven at O2 Ritz. Their Outbreak set will feature songs from ‘Separation’ and ‘The Things We Think We’re Missing’, both records are standouts within this scene. Also returning to the UK are Tigers Jaw, Free Throw and Pool Kids to make up the Friday line-up.

Saturday will feature a special performance from Alexisonfire, which sees them perform ‘Crisis’ in full. The record features much adored singles ‘Boiled Frogs‘, ‘Rough Hands‘ and ‘This Could Be Anywhere in the World‘. Touche Amore will also return to the festival as they celebrate ‘Stage Four‘, while favourites High Vis, Converge and many more are set to feature on the second day. UK hardcore supergroup Still In Love and Leeds band Higher Power are set to attract huge crowds on the day too.

Finally, Sunday will be closed out by Outbreak veterans Basement. The bands’ long awaited fifth record seems to be edging closer to an announcement, so this could be the first time fans hear new music live. Hatebreed will make their Outbreak debut with a set filled with material from ‘Perseverance‘ and ‘Satisfaction is the Death of Desire‘. Trapped Under Ice, Fiddlehead and La Dispute are amongst the big names performing on Sunday.
