Hylands Park was previously known for hosting events such as V Festival and more recently BBC Radio 2 in the Park. Now for 2026, a brand new festival will be gracing the county of Essex as State Fayre makes its debut in Chelmsford.

A stacked line-up includes headliners Kings of Leon, Alanis Morissette and The Lumineeers, as well as huge names performing throughout the day such as Skunk Anansie, Elvis Costello and the Imposters, Counting Crows and KT Tunstall to name a few.

The festival is spread out across Hylands Park, with three stages as well as The Fume Pit, hosted by FUME, the UK’s Premium BBQ Festival. Attendees can expect a range of award winning pit masters and chefs cooking up some of the finest BBQ food to grace the UK.

Razorlight, Nina Nesbitt, The Black Crowes, Stephen Wilson Jr. and The Coral are amongst the other acts performing across the weekend. The full line-up can be found below.
