The Molotovs are a rising band based in London, composed by two siblings. As they head out on their biggest headline tour to date, the duo continue to bring their fans hits such as ‘Today’s Gonna Be Our Day and my personal favourite ‘More, More, More!’ from their debut album ‘Wasted on Youth’. The set also features a bunch of brand new songs from their upcoming new record, ‘Welcome to Urbia’ which is set for release in 2027.
The room suddenly got filled with noise from fans chanting for them, they had a brilliant set filled with the songs from their early performances to unreleased music, their set included high driven upbeats with more heartfelted acoustic guitar tracks, which was lovely to see. Their stage presence is incredible, never fails to amaze me, they are an inspiration to younger upcoming bands, despite being only in their teens, they already are making a difference with their music and selling out venues. Their music mixes Brit-pop with punky performances. They achieved a perfect mix of both, which is something remarkable. Definitely a band to keep your eyes out for!
This is the second time I’ve been able to see them live. They prove to their fans that rock and roll is still alive. They had the whole room cheering for them to come back and play more songs and so was I! They played loads of new songs from Welcome to Urbia! I’ll be excited to listen to their brand new album that comes out in April 2027! So catch them on tour if you want to hear it before then!
