The Wanted have fans of all ages in a chokehold, their chart-topping hits transcending generations. Whether you danced to their music in your twenties or grew up with their songs as the soundtrack to your childhood, their music continues to hold a special place in fans’ lives, proving that some songs never lose their magic.

Opening with their hit ‘All Time Low’, Max, George and Siva Kaneswaran launched into a collection of tracks spanning the band’s discography. As they revisited the songs that first brought them success, they reminisced about their early days, recalling a time when they were still at school together. Their journey from those beginnings to the crowd gathered before them highlighted just how far they had come, with their music bridging the years in between.

Yet it was the connection between the band and their audience that made the evening particularly special. Recognising familiar faces from throughout their career, the singers demonstrated their appreciation for those who had supported them over the years. In a particularly touching moment, they invited a young girl onto the stage to share a song that held special meaning for her, following an interaction during a livestream in lockdown. This demonstrated how a seemingly small exchange could become a lasting memory, highlighting a relationship built on far more than music alone.

Throughout the set, fans swayed, waved and sang along to the upbeat favourites, raising their lights as the singers helped create an electric atmosphere. Even the closing moments reflected this connection, as Max and George allowed the crowd to vote on the final song.

As fans poured out of the small Coventry nightclub, the atmosphere remained electric, with the excitement of the evening lingering long after the final song. The connection between Max, George and Siva Kaneswaran and their audience was undeniable, strengthened by years of shared memories and the hardships they had experienced along the way. With fans leaving still buzzing from the performance, it was clear that the band’s music continues to unite generations, carrying those memories beyond the venue and into everyday life. Some soundtracks never end.
